Role of the Job
• The position holder will be directly responsible for Planning, evaluating, and revising curricula, writing schemes of work; planning for methods of instruction and subject delivery and preparing homework and assignments. The holder will also be involved in organising and gelling involved in social and co-curricula activities like sports, music, dance and drama.


Specific responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering English lessons for a range of classes and age groups; in accordance with the course outlines.
• Classroom management.
• Designing and producing teaching materials and adapting existing materials;
• Assessing students' progress by compiling, administering, grading, analysing and reporting results from examinations, tests, exercises and assignments.
• Evaluate and assess students' needs and
• providing appropriate feedback.
• Maintain student attendance records, grades, registers, and other required records.


Person Specifications
• A Diploma in Primary Education. A Degree in Education will be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years teaching experience.
• Flexible, tolerant with a high level of integrity.
• An all-rounder and God fearing
• Not beyond 35years of age.
