Uganda Clays Limited is Uganda’s leading manufacturer of quality building products located at Kajjansi, 14 Kilometers
along Kampala-Entebbe Road with a second factory at Kamonkoli in Mbale. The company seeks to recruit competent and
dynamic individuals of high integrity to fill the following positions.



Job Purpose:

The Site Services Manager will manage all aspects of the

Site Services function, meet the needs of the company at

all times by developing site services plans, building and

ground maintenance among others.

Key responsibilities:

•    The incumbent will formulate strategic and operational
plans for the Site Services section ensuring that the
activities of the section will support the organisation’s
business plan.

•     Manage the planning, design, and implementation of
significant site development projects, ensuring that
project outcomes are accomplished in a timely and
cost effective fashion and that Uganda Clay’s brand is
showcased effectively.

•     Ensure that all buildings and facilities are maintained
in good working order and to high standards of
attractiveness that will showcase Uganda Clays brand.

•     Ensure that Uganda Clays Factories and Outlets have
well maintained and attractive grounds

•     Ensure that the buildings and property of the Uganda
Clays are kept secure at all times

Job requirements;

•    A bachelor’s degree in Civil or architectural engineering,
an Ordinary Diploma or higher Diploma backed by
experience is considered.

•    A minimum of four years’ experience in active building

•     Health and Safety management skills

•     Effective man management skills

•     Heavy manufacturing bias.

•     Excellent oral and written communication skill.



Job Purpose:

The Audit Officer will be responsible for supporting the
Internal audit Function at Uganda Clays Kajjansi through the
coordination and management of activities that will ensure
the implementation of an independent and systematic
approach which evaluates and improves the effectiveness of
policies, procedures and standards.

Key responsibilities:

•     Ensuring the achievement of the audit objectives by
having a well-coordinated audit engagements.

•     Support the heads of department by reviewing and
monitoring consistency in the application of policies
throughout the organisation.

•     Carrying out financial Audits.

•     Generate reports that meet the engagement objectives

in providing management and the board timely, accurate
and constructive.

•      Review the process of populating the corporate register.

•     Lead the team of Audit Assistants, in a manner that
empowers them to carry out highly effective audits that
add value to Uganda Clays operations.

Job requirements;

•    A degree in any of the following: B.COM, BBA, BBS,
Accounting/ Finance.

•     Full professional qualification in either: ACCA, CPA OR

•     Should have good knowledge in computerized
accounting and auditing record keeping systems.

•     Should have a minimum of 4years’ experience audit
gained with a reputable organisation.

•     Professional experience working under Audit firms shall
be an added advantage.
