Job Description

ARC works with its partners and constituencies to provide opportunities
and expertise to refugees, displaced people and host communities – to
better survive conflicts and crisis, and to rebuild lives of dignity, health,
security and self-sufficiency.

ARC has consistently operated in Uganda since 1990s, and today has a
strong and committed team of over 120 regular, full-time national staff
and partners – implementing programs in various sectors including
WASH, Gender Based Violence and Protection across several refugee
settlements in Uganda.

ARC is looking for qualified, self-driven and committed individuals to be
part of and contribute to accomplishing our ambitious and exciting 2018
programming – several challenging full-time positions, across the various
refugee settlement sites as well as at the ARC main office – Kampala,
Uganda:

Community Job summary: Services The community Services Manager will be charged with Manager managing, implementing, and supervising community (1 position) services program and interventions. S/he will empower the Site based staff and volunteers to effectively lead Reports to: Area community assessments, planning and intervention Coordinator processes. Location: Bidi Bidi. Minimum qualifications: • A university Degree in Social Sciences Community Psychology or any related field. • A minimum of five years program management experience in Community Services interventions. • Must be fluent in English & Swahili.
