Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans for the post of a part-time surgeon with St. Charles Lwanga Buikwe Hospital under the umbrella of the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau belonging to Lugazi Diocese and funded by Caritas Prague based in Buikwe District.

Job Purpose, Duties and Routine Responsibilities:
The part time surgeon is responsible for the realization of the elective surgeries based on the plan prepared by the Medical Superintendent. Her/his work will be realized two days per a working week. The particular days will be decided based on possibilities of a candidate.
S/he is accountable to the Medical Superintendant and the Hospital Management Team.

Qualification and experience:
The applicant shall fulfill the following requirements:
• A bachelor degree in medicine
• A master degree in surgery
• At least 3 years of clinical experience
• At least three positive referees
• Good communication skills and team work spirit
• Willing to work in the institution under the catholic principles
