Save the Children seeks to fill the following vacant positions and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Ugandan nationals.

Logistics Officer (1 position)

Duty Station; Kasese

The Logistics Officer will work under the direct control and supervision of the Partnership Manager, Finance and Administration. The job holder will support the District Offices in the in the provision of logistic management and support, ensuring that this is done through timely service delivery to the field programmes in line with SCiUG policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirement:

Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications;

  • A minimum of a Degree in humanities, Finance/Business studies or the equivalent accrued working experience in a related position. Possession of a graduate or partial professional qualification in logistics, procurement and supplies management is of an added advantage.
  • At least 3 years experience in office administration or management preferably in an INGO
  • Excellent skills in written and oral communication
  • A strong team player worker with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong financial, planning and budget management skills and experience.
  • Computer literacy skills – MS Office applications, word, excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets.
