Save the Children seeks to fill the following vacant positions and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Ugandan nationals.

Administration Assistant (1 position)

Duty Station; Bundibugyo

The Administration Assistant will work under the direct control and supervision of the Partnership Manager, Finance and Administration. The job holder will Support the district office on all administrative aspects relating to office and program implementation including procurement, transport / fleet management and warehousing /Finance in line with SC policies, procedures and guidelines

Requirement:

Desired Academic back ground, Experience & person specifications;

  • A minimum of a diploma in Logistics and supply chain management or a relevant discipline. Additional or post graduate qualification in Logistics, Transport/Fleet or warehouse management is an added advantage
  • A minimum of 2 years working experience in handling logistics generally and in emergency situation or conflict/post conflict situations in a reputable organisation, preferably an international NGO.
  • Excellent skills in written and oral communication.
  • A strong team player worker with good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local Government systems and procedures.
  • Computer literacy skills – MS Office applications, word, excel, PowerPoint, spreadsheets.
